Skin has weather. Sun dries it out. Long days wear it down. Rain soaks it. Night lets it settle. Most of what we own is made for the special day — the event, the trip, the photo. Very little is made for the day that is nothing in particular, which is almost every day.
HAEWABI — "sun and rain" in Korean — is five things for that ordinary day. A cleanser that clears, morning and night. A lotion for the morning, light as sun. A mist for the day, wherever the wind leaves you dry. A serum for the night, the first layer that sinks in. A cream for the night, full as rain. Wash, refill, cover. That is the whole method.
We kept the ingredients familiar, the scent faint, and the price one you can afford every day. We named the routines after the weather instead of after promises. And we decided, before the first tube was filled, that the lineup would stay at five. Nothing gets added that an ordinary day does not need.
